About Us

Formed in 1920, Hindley St. Peter’s Cricket Club has been playing cricket at its Wigan Road ground close to the centre of the town for a hundred years. This year we celebrate our centenary!
Standing alone for its first 88 years, since 2008 the club has been part of the St. Peter's Pavilion complex, a new facility bringing together the cricket club, Hindley ARLFC, St. Peter's Church and youth organisations into a multi-use building for the benefit of the local community.

The Pavilion is available for hire. If you are interested in hiring the facility, please contact the Centre Manager, Paul Barnett, on 01942 521381, by e-mail at info@stpeterspavilion.org.uk or via their web site. (Please do not contact the Cricket Club directly as we are not responsible for bookings at the Pavilion.)
On the cricket field, HSP has two open age teams playing on Saturdays in the Greater Manchester Cricket League and a Sunday team in the West Lancashire Cricket League.
Practice night

Senior practice night takes place on Thursday evenings during the season (April to September), from 6.30 pm onwards at the ground. This is also when teams are selected for the coming weekend.
